Log in to docs.saxobroko.com

Saxon's documentation lives at docs.saxobroko.com. It is not open to the whole internet — you must sign in through Cloudflare Access, which sends you to Authentik at auth.saxobroko.com.

This guide is for readers with zero technical background.

Before you start

  1. Internet connection — home Wi‑Fi or mobile data.
  2. Authentik username and password — stored in Vaultwarden. Search for Authentik or docs.
  3. Optional: open Vaultwarden in another tab first so you can copy the password.

You do not need a YubiKey for the docs site itself — Authentik uses username and password. YubiKeys protect other things (Cloudflare admin, the vault, etc.).

What will happen (big picture)

You → docs.saxobroko.com
   → Cloudflare "who are you?"
   → Authentik login page (username + password)
   → back to docs (you can read the site)

Step-by-step login

1. Open the docs site

  1. Open a web browser (Chrome, Firefox, Edge, Safari).
  2. Go to: https://docs.saxobroko.com
  3. Press Enter.

2. Cloudflare Access screen

  1. You may briefly see a Cloudflare Access or Zero Trust page.
  2. It should offer to sign in — often a button like Sign in with Authentik or Authentik.
  3. Click that button.

If you see "Access denied" with no login button — see Troubleshooting.

3. Authentik login

  1. Your browser should open auth.saxobroko.com (or show an Authentik-branded login form).
  2. Enter your username — from Vaultwarden (Authentik entry).
  3. Enter your password — from Vaultwarden.
  4. Click Log in or Continue.

4. Return to the docs

  1. After a successful login, Cloudflare sends you back to docs.saxobroko.com.
  2. You should see the SaxDocs home page with sections like Guides, Finance, Server.
  3. Use the left menu or search to find what you need — e.g. Finance (simple).

5. Staying logged in

  • On your home PC, the browser may remember the session for a while — you might not log in every visit.
  • On a shared or public computer, close the browser when finished or use private/incognito mode.

Same login as other home apps

If Saxon set you up on Authentik, the same username/password may work for other protected home pages (e.g. dashboard). Each app still shows its own login when needed.

Troubleshooting

Problem What to try
"Access denied" / no Authentik button Your Authentik user may not exist or may be disabled. Ryan or whoever administers Authentik must add you. Do not poke Cloudflare settings without guidance.
Wrong password at Authentik Copy again from Vaultwarden — watch for spaces. Caps Lock. See Login troubleshooting.
Vaultwarden won't open You need the vault for the Authentik password. Fix vault access first: Open Vaultwarden.
Page loads but looks broken (no styling) Hard refresh: Ctrl+F5 (Windows) or Cmd+Shift+R (Mac). Try another browser.
Infinite redirect loop Clear cookies for saxobroko.com and cloudflareaccess.com, then try again. Still stuck → Login troubleshooting.
Works at home but not on mobile data Unusual — should work anywhere. Check date/time on phone (wrong clock breaks secure login).

What not to do

Do not share your Authentik password

Anyone with your Authentik login can read private docs (finance, server details). Do not post screenshots with session cookies or tokens.
