Home tech — everyday hardware

Golden rules

  1. Power order matters — modem/router first, then NAS, then PC. See Turn everything on.
  2. Never format disks on the NAS unless a technical person told you to. That is where all the media lives.
  3. Passwords are not in these pages — they are in Vaultwarden at vault.saxobroko.com.
  4. Most homelab sites only work in Australia when you are away from home. That is intentional security, not a bug.
