Basics — learn the words and the map
You do not need to be technical to use Saxon's home or these docs. This section explains words, websites, and physical devices in plain English.
Saxon lived in Sunbury, Victoria. His tech lives on one home network (192.168.2.x) behind a UniFi router, with a TrueNAS server and a Windows PC.

Ryan's inheritance
Brother Ryan gets all tech and must not sell it. These Basics pages help him learn — see Who gets what.
If this goes wrong
Too many new words
- Use Glossary like a dictionary. One term at a time is enough.
A URL does not open
- Check All important URLs. Many home services only work from Australia or need login.
You opened the wrong box
- See Physical equipment map. Do not unplug hard drives inside the TrueNAS.
